The “Girls in Robo-Tech” programme, held at Pillai University, New Panvel from 25th to 30th May 2026, brought together 95 school girls from Standard 6th to 10th for a week-long immersion in robotics, automation and AI. Organised by the Society of Women Engineers (SWE) with Pillai College of Engineering, the initiative combined hands-on building, expert guidance and inspiring guest interactions. Participants designed, assembled and programmed their own robots — and took them home as lasting souvenirs of the experience. The programme aimed to spark curiosity, build confidence and empower young girls to explore careers in STEM.
